Tanganyika Wildlife Park
Tanganyika Wildlife Park, just outside Wichita in Goddard, Kansas, offers more hands-on animal encounters than almost anywhere in the country. Admission is all-inclusive, with unlimited feedings at nine stations and food and drinks all day, plus animal demonstrations and access to some of the planet's rarest species. Visitors hand-feed giraffes, rhinos, lorikeets, tortoises, and lemurs, meet kangaroos and sloths, and book signature experiences like swimming with penguins or meeting a pygmy hippo family. The park holds American Humane certification — the first in Kansas.
