Cove Point Lodge occupies its own natural cove on a 150-acre Lake Superior preserve in Beaver Bay, with 3,000 feet of North Shore lakeshore near Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls state parks. The Gitchi-Gami Bike Trail leaves right from the driveway. Forty-five rustic Scandinavian-style rooms — all with lake or cove views — join 26 furnished cottages for couples and families. A great hall with a massive stone fireplace anchors the lodge, alongside a pool, hot tub, sauna, and lakeside dining room.
