Boulder Junction sits in the heart of Wisconsin's Northwoods, the self-styled Musky Capital of the World, ringed by 194 glacial lakes and the vast Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest. More than 50 class-A musky lakes draw anglers chasing trophy fish, alongside walleye, bass, pike, and panfish. Beyond the water, the 52-mile Heart of Vilas County paved bike trail, paddling on the Manitowish River, and 130 miles of groomed snowmobile trails keep every season busy. A walkable downtown anchors the village.
